2025 Road Resurfacing Program – Phase I, RS-16-24

Purpose/Need: Resurfacing our existing County Roads to improve the safety of the motoring public.

Action Necessary: Advertisement of Legal notice to obtain bids for the resurfacing of roads.  Advertising for the legal notice by the BCC on September 19th for one week and also placed on the County website for two weeks.  Bid opening to be on October 3, 2024.

History of Project: This project is our annual resurfacing program.  The “plans”, as defined in section 200.1 of the General Provisions, are included in section V of the Bid Documents.

Engineers Office Roads:  22.31 miles

Costs: The estimated construction cost is $2,049,528.66.  This project will be funded with ARPA Fiscal Recovery “Lost Revenue” funds.

Expected Outcomes: Resurfacing 22.31 miles Roads.

Time Period: The completion date for this project is set at August 1, 2025
