The Highway Department is principally responsible for the maintenance of an efficient, safe county transportation system. In fulfilling this objective, the department must promote and maintain a high degree of cooperation with the Board of Commissioners and local units of government, the Ohio Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration and the public citizens of Clermont County. The department is responsible for County Roads and Bridges on county and township roads. Included in the duties are the following;
