2026 Road Resurfacing Program, RS-01-26

Purpose/Need: The enclosed Agreements will allow the Board of County Commissioners to publicly bid and manage the resurfacing of township and municipal road(s) in various townships and municipalities.
Action Necessary: Execution of the enclosed Agreements between Board of County Commissioners of Clermont County and various municipalities.
History of Project: The Clermont County Engineers office extended an offer for townships and municipalities to combine with our annual resurfacing program with the goal of achieving lower unit pricing. These agreements will allow the Board of County Commissioners and the County Engineer to bid and manage the resurfacing of roads for the following townships and municipalities.
Tate Township $ 130,000.00 (1 road, 1.09 miles)
Union Township $ 725,000.00 (15 roads, 3.536 miles)
Williamsburg Township $ 80,000.00 (2 roads, 0.809 miles)
Stonelick Township $ 155,000.00 (2 roads, 1.922 miles)
Pierce Township $ 361,000.00 (7 roads, 1.489 miles)
Goshen Township $ 631,261.00 (3 roads, 3.319 miles)
Batavia Township $ 560,000.00 (25 roads, 2.844 miles)
Village of Williamsburg $ 95,000.00 (3 roads, 0.481 miles)
Totals $ 2,737,261.00 (58 roads, 15.49 miles)
Costs: The municipalities have agreed to pay the not to exceed amounts listed above for resurfacing roads within their jurisdiction.
Actual bid costs will be billed after opening bids on the project.
Expected Outcomes: The resurfacing of various roads in the municipalities listed above.
Time Period: The Agreement will be in effect for a period of 2 years. It is anticipated that the work will be completed by fall of 2026.
